After finishing La Plaine Saint-Denis, it’s time for something new.
I stumbled upon a couple of youtube videos of the Wabash Central Railroad, a little Indiana shortline between Craigville and Van Buren (see here and here) and was immediately sold. So it’s gonna be a bit of rural Indiana during winter.
Before building the actual layout I started with a 2 x 1 ft diorama. A layout set in winter is a bit of a different puppy compared to what I’m used to so first I wanted to see if I could actually pull it off. Generally I’m pretty happy with how things turned out.
